About Course

Information Communication and Technology or ICT Strand is one of the strands offered under Technical-Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Track of K-12 curriculum. ICT strand subjects seek to teach students concepts and skills in information technology. Under ICT curriculum, students will learn how to write programs and design websites. This will also help them hone their skills in animation and illustration which will help them thrive in the creative field. Aside from these, ICT strand will also cover telecom installation and medical transcription.

Career Opportunities:

  • To enhance the knowledge, skills, behavior and motivations of students in accordance with industry standards
  • To train students to become effective and efficient technical sales representatives, MIS personnels, systems developer, industry workers
  • To prepare students to venture and manage their own businesses
  • To acquire a National Certification in Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing from TESDA

Degrees to Pursue:

  • Associate in Computer Technology specialized in: Call Center Agent or Computer and Network Servicing
  • BS in Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology
  • BS in Information Systems
  • BS Computer Science, or any Engineering courses
